Your initial (unarmed) NYS Security Guard Certification training consists of the following: 

• Video
• Lecture 
• Test after a full content review at the end of each class.  

That's it.    

1. Training conduced by world class professionals that come from elite military and law enforcement units.  

2. There is no physical training for the unarmed training, only listening to videos and lectures with small breaks throughout the day and a short test.

3. The instructors will keep the class interesting, answer all of your questions, and personally guide you through the entire process so no worries. 

Note: We suggest that you bring a black or dark blue ink pen and a small paper notepad or notebook.   It's good to be prepared with these items for ANY future training you may attend and you will be required to carry them as a NYS licensed Security Guard while you are working.

Although we originally were founded in 1997 as a consulting firm, we added the Security Guard Training Program in 2009 to help veterans who were returning from active military service to get reestablished. 

Our founder, Gregory Bravo, is also US military veteran and thought that becoming a security guard was one of the best ways for vets to use their acquired skills while either going to college to become something else or while undergoing testing for a civil service or railroad job.  A security guard job has flexible hours and can provide much needed income to accomplish these goals.
